Checked out the Chinese Este Shops at Ueno. Along with the usual service menu, many of these shops advertise “2R” - two round - full service at unbelieveably (for Japan) low prices around JPY8,000. Made a list of three promising shops - M69C, Ichigo Musume and EN. I was really interested in M69C because they advertised that 3 free mobile phone pics (no face) were included in the package. Thought it would be a nice souvenir of the experience. Got to Ueno station, went out the Asakusa Exit (see pic #1) and called the M69C number from the public phone. Guy answered and I said I wanted to visit the shop. I got all the directions to the shop (in Japanese, of course) and then all of a sudden the guy asks if I am a foreigner. I say yes and he says the shop will not entertain foreigners. Hmm. Okay. So I call Ichigo Musume and get the directions to the shop - down past the Matsuya (see pic #2) and to the building next to the UFJ Bank ATM (see pic #3). Go to the room and the guy is surprised to see a foreigner staring him in the face. He looks at me and struggles to say that they don’t entertain foreigners. I reply in Japanese “why, I’m a nice guy.” He thinks about it and asks me to take a seat. Then he asks me if it’s my first time, do I know the system, blah blah blah. I politely answer him in my best Japanese and he points to the regular price (JPY10,000) and points to an (unappealing) girl pic and says “this is the only girl who can go with you.” I could tell he was trying to do the least for me, so I gave my “sumimasen” and politely excused myself. Feeling a bit discouraged, I go downstairs and call the last shop on my list - EN. The guy happily answers and guides me to a different room at a different floor of the same building as Ichigo Musume. I go up the elevator and the shop guy points to three pictures of reasonably appealing available girls. I pick the one that fits my taste best and choose the 60min course for JPY10,000. I wasn’t going to bother about asking for the Internet discount to JPY8,000 - I needed to get some testicle relief. Better to call and see if you can get directions to a preferred shop before you go to Ueno. It looks like the competition is very rapid as I already saw many of the Sugamo este shops advertising for “2R” service and even photos. Like the other shop I tried, the girls are Chinese, but the manners are much more Japanese-like, which takes off a lot of the rough Chinese edge. As I noted above, many of these shops advertise as using “untouched” photos of the girls (especially the ones that they show at the shop for selection), but I can confirm that heavy Photoshopping is the rule rather than an exception.

I can say that only the most determined and disciplined punter will actually get “2R” (two round) service in the 60min Course. The girl will do her best to fritter away a substantial amount of time with shower and massage. Unless you are a quick cummer and have quick recovery time, either reduce your expectation to “1R” or increase your session time to allow for a relaxed pace.

Overall I found the experience quite okay. The process may be a bit mechanical, but at least it is reasonably priced and you will get some needed testicle relief. Enjoy Tokyo! AsianRain

For my visit to Banana, I was disappointed by the service package provided by Nana, Although the Play Guide at the Banana website shows as “under construction,” almost all of these places have standard clear menu of “Play” services, which is almost universally advertised to include deep kiss, bbbj, 69 and cfs. Nana missed the deep kiss, her bbbj was short (I had to tell her to continue) and cfs was fairly uninspired. Every provider is different, so I won’t condemn the shop, but be aware that the service level might not match up with the menu. Finally some mercy for visitors to Manila. The airport has finally established a proper meter taxi service, offering a cost-effective alternative to the hotel limosines and overpriced coupon taxis. I used this service on my last visit to Manila and it worked brilliantly. Just go to the queue and tell the clerk where you are going. The taxis are spacious, clean and new, which means that the aircon will be blowing nicely for your ride into town. The flag down rate is slightly above the shitty regular meter taxis, but shouldn’t be more than a couple dollars extra to the center of town. Against the hotel limos and coupon taxis, the savings are over 50% with not much difference in the quality of the ride. It is by far the best option for getting into town. The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) on Wednesday started mobilizing 100 units of brand-new sedans as metered taxis at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminals 1 and 2.

“We have been wanting to give a new alternative transport system at the NAIA. We are therefore proud to have initiated and spearheaded this new service that we are offering primarily to passengers and airport users. Now they have a cheaper but safe mode of transportation,” said MIAA general manager Alfonso Cusi.

Cusi said the metered taxi will implement a P70 flag down rate for the first 500 meters and additional P4 for every succeeding 300 meters.

The flag down rate is higher than the P30 flag down for regular cabs operating in Metro Manila. Cusi said they expect the metered airport taxis to be lower in fares than the P1,200 normally charged by current taxi coupon service for passengers who are going to the northern part of Metro Manila.

“For the further protection of users, the taxi meter units are equipped with the receipt dispensing feature. Dispatch slips will be issued to them indicating the plate number of the taxi unit, breakdown of the tariff as approved by the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) and contact numbers that they can reach to report any act of abuse or discourtesy,” Cusi said.

Taxi companies as well as their drivers have been accredited by MIAA and the Department of Tourism. The drivers, Cusi said, have undergone the DOT’s “Mabuhay Host Program” or the LTFRB’s “Drivers Training Program.”

All taxi units are equipped with two-way radios and a top light with the signage “Airport Taxi”. It will be exclusively for airport operations to and from the NAIA terminals.

MIAA is expected to deploy around 300 metered taxi units in the coming months and will operate within the Mega Manila (provinces of Cavite, Rizal, Bulacan and Laguna)

“We appeal to our dear passengers to always take airport accredited transport for their own protection. The average fare difference of the tourist metered taxi from that of the regular metered taxi may be a little higher but the benefit to the users far outweighs the cost that will be incurred by making it as an alternative,” Cusi said.
